Born in Paris and after having traveled the world, Natalie Simond studied design and fashion at Central Saint Martin's School of Art, in London, where she definitely put down her suitcases. Her various experiences in the fashion industry as well as her many travels around the world have always inspired her to create unique and tailor-made jewelry. She then decides to launch her own brand: Amadeus.
Amadeus offers ethical, handmade, vintage-inspired jewelry. As a brand, Amadeus wishes to have a positive impact on the jewelry industry and ensures to produce in a sustainable and eco-responsible approach. All pieces are made from recycled, Fairtrade silver or gold, the gemstones used are recycled or hand sourced from legislated and fair trade mines, and the pearls are hand picked at an eco-friendly Asian seafaring farm. By working directly with these mining and farm communities, all middlemen are removed, thus ensuring that working conditions are good and that money is returned to local communities.
The entire production process is carried out in London, as close as possible to the designer in order to ensure complete and permanent control: the refining of the metals, production, finishing and shipping are managed locally, in circuit- short. In addition, for each order placed, the Amadeus brand plants a tree with Tree-Nation, in order to offset the carbon footprint of deliveries.
