ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Antagony is a unisex ready-to-wear brand made in France. The universe of the brand is part of a minimalist spirit, resolutely neoclassical and unique. Sensitive to slow-fashion, the designer thinks of the models in each collection as a set of pieces that can constitute, by themselves, a wardrobe of timeless revisited suitable for both men and women. All the pieces are made in France, in a workshop located in the Paris region which promotes reintegration by learning to sew. The creations are made in limited series mainly from fabrics from end of series designers, thus promoting upcycling.

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards)
The GOTS label guarantees an ecological and socially responsible production method, which applies high quality requirements. This label indicates that the textile fibers come from organic farming, and that there are no toxic or carcinogenic substances.
OEKO-TEX®
The OEKO-TEX® label certifies the non-toxicity of textiles and dyes, and the total absence of substances harmful to health. Also guarantees compliance with safety standards throughout the production process.

Antagony is part of an environmental approach and in this logic, has chosen to produce in very limited series. This avoids overproduction and therefore saves resources due to the production of new products. The brand has also made the choice of proximity in order to considerably reduce its carbon footprint. Indeed, all stages of creation and production are carried out in Paris and in the Paris region. Finally, for its designs, Antagony uses digital printing certified OEKO-TEX 100, a benchmark label in terms of health safety that certifies products without chemical substances.

From the choice of materials to production, everything is done in Paris and Ile-de-France. Antagony brand products are manufactured in France, in the Paris region in the 93, within the Jean-Luc François association which promotes professional reintegration by working with people remote from employment who are trained in the professions of the tailoring and fashion. Created in 2010, this association specializes in making limited-edition clothing and thus shares one of Antagony's fundamental values for slow fashion: "consume less but better".

The materials used for the manufacture of Antagony products are ecological: they are natural or upcycled. For this second case, Mylène, the designer and stylist, selects rolls of fabrics from the stock of Luxury Houses and major designers, which are abandoned and generally intended to be discarded. In order to promote the circular economy and reduce waste, Mylène recovers these rolls and recovers them to make certain clothes of her brand. This process considerably reduces the environmental impact linked to the production process, since no new material is created. -
