ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Beard & Fringe is the first 100% eco-responsible and organic “weekend wear” brand. Designed and created by two brothers, Sylvain and Gil Machac, this Parisian brand designed with respect for the planet offers a comfortable wardrobe made up of pieces with a pure and sophisticated design. The clothes are made in Europe, from non-polluting plant fibers and natural pigments labeled GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards). Each model is designed to be both comfortable and stylish, perfectly symbolizing the Parisian lifestyle, cool and trendy.

The GOTS label guarantees an ecological and socially responsible production method, which applies high quality requirements. This label indicates that the textile fibers come from organic farming, and that there are no toxic or carcinogenic substances.

All Beard & Fringe brand products are completely handmade, handcrafted in Slovakia. Undeniably committed to the environment, Beard & Fringe uses reusable and biodegradable packaging, and labels printed on recycled paper. The brand also controls the use of water and undertakes to systematically recycle wastewater.

Beard & Fringe pieces are 100% vegan and cruelty free. The clothes are entirely composed of vegetable fibers, no animal trace comes from near or far in its manufacture.

In order to limit the carbon footprint of its products, Beard & Fringe has chosen to do everything in Europe: the harvest of raw materials, spinning, weaving, dyeing of the fabric, accessories and the manufacture of the garment are done between Turkey, the Netherlands, Romania and Slovakia. The model manufacturing stage is done in Slovakia, in a haute couture workshop specializing in high-end personalized clothing. The Beard & Fringe brand respects and guarantees the rights, working conditions and fair remuneration of its European partners.

At Beard & Fringe, clothing is manufactured from natural fibers and pigments labeled GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards - label that guarantees the organic character of the textile, from the harvest of raw materials and their environmentally responsible transformation. and social, up to their labeling). Fabrics, sewing threads, dyes, ... everything is guaranteed 100% natural without pesticides or chemical elements. The production units - threading, weaving, finishing - are frequently and independently controlled. The 100% natural fiber character allows the composting of clothes at the end of their life.
